Description

Known as Winstrol, Stanozolol is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone, chemically modified to amplify the anabolic properties and reduce the androgenic activity of the hormone. It differs from dihydrotestosterone by the addition of a methyl group at the 17alpha carbon to protect the hormone during oral administration and the attachment of a pyrazol group to the A ring, replacing the normal 3-keto group (which gives Stanozolol the chemical classification of a heterocyclic steroid). Winstrol is the second most used steroid among bodybuilders and athletes for its ability to promote muscle growth without water retention. It exhibits one of the strongest dissociations from the anabolic effect to the androgenic effect. It does not convert to estrogen.
