Description
Proviron is composed of mesterolone dosed at 25mg per tablet. It is not an anabolic but a very powerful anti-estrogen. Prevents gynecomastia, while reducing water and fat retention, it allows the relaunch of testosterone production in the testicles, while preventing the aromatization of anabolic steroids.
Proviron acts as an anti-aromatic: it prevents the aromatization (transformation) of anabolic steroids into estrogens. It thus prevents gynecomastia. It can be combined with Nolvadex to increase its effectiveness. It should be noted that Proviron and Nolvadex are two anti-estrogens with different and complementary mechanisms of action, and this is why the combination of these two products is so effective: while Proviron prevents the aromatization of anabolic steroids, Nolvadex obstructs the estrogen receptor cells, preventing it from acting. It is therefore a formidable tandem.

It should be noted that Proviron tends to limit muscle gains from a steroid cycle because it attaches to androgen receptor cells instead of other steroids in the body, which then remain blocked outside and therefore have no effect. Regarding the side effects of mesterolone, they are rare below 100 mg per day. In fact, Proviron tablets are not alpha-alkylated 17 and do not pose any harm to the liver. However, if you start to exceed 75 to 100 mg per day, you often see phenomena such as priapism (a painful situation in which the penis does not return to its normal flaccidity after erection) in men or virilization in women.
