Description

Proviron is composed of mesterolone dosed at 50mg per tablet. It is not an anabolic but a very powerful anti-estrogen. Prevents gynecomastia, while reducing water and fat retention, it allows the revival of testosterone production in the testicles, while preventing the aromatization of anabolics.

Proviron acts as an anti-aromatic: it prevents the aromatization (transformation) of anabolic steroids into estrogens. It thus avoids gynecomastia. It can be combined with Nolvadex to increase its effectiveness. It must in fact be clarified that Proviron and Nolvadex are two anti-estrogens whose mechanisms of action are different and complementary, and it is for this reason that the combination of these two products is so effective: while Proviron prevents the aromatization of anabolics, Nolvadex obstructs estrogen receptor cells, preventing it from working. It is therefore a formidable tandem.

Proviron is also not only an excellent anti-estrogen : by maintaining a low level of estrogen, Proviron also reduces water retention. It thus gives the user the skinned look sought by so many bodybuilders, especially when preparing for competitions.

It should be noted that Proviron tends to limit muscle gains due to a steroid cycle, because it attaches to androgen receptor cells in place of other steroids present in the body, which then remain blocked outside and therefore without effect. This is why many bodybuilders take a minimal dose of Proviron, just to avoid gynecomastia.

As for the side effects of mesterolone, they are rare below 100 mg per day. In fact, Proviron tablets are not alpha-alkylated 17 and present no harm to the liver. On the other hand, if we begin to exceed 75 to 100 mg per day, we frequently see phenomena such as priapism (a painful situation in which the penis after erection does not regain its normal flaccidity) appear in men or virilization in women.
