Description

Proscar is a very potent type II 5a-reductase inhibitor which prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). In addition, it is used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is the enlargement of the prostate. Bodybuilding side, bodybuilders use it in prevention against hair loss.

Studies have shown that Proscar will reduce serum DHT levels by about 65 to 70 % and DHT levels in the prostate by up to 90 %.
