Hexarelin works to improve this natural production of GH in two different ways. First, the peptide amplifies the natural growth hormone releasing the signal. This results in an increased secretion of GH from the pituitary gland. Second, it suppresses a hormone in the body called somatostatin, also known as growth hormone inhibiting hormone (GHIH). Somatostatin causes the body to reduce its natural production of GH. By limiting the action of somatostatin, Hexarelin eliminates this barrier to higher GH production, resulting in dramatically increased levels of natural growth hormone.
